Ludwig Downbeat. I can see Joe Morello on them. 1960s Silver Sparkle. Nice 20-12-14. Nice drums, Just cleaned. all have white interiors, baseball bat tone controls, keystone badges. The 12" Tom serial #235988. 14" Tom Serial #241350. And The 20" Bass Drum Serial #227163. The bass has a Pratt muffler. All Drums Were never used single headed so the interiors are crisp white. I have been graced with another Ludwig 60s WMP Classic set. This one is a one owner and always had cases. It all was made on
Sept 9 1966. Every drum has that date stamped into it. It even has the original snare with the same date on it. The color is great. All drums match.
The picturs with the drums on the carpet pick up darkness from the carpet.
The badges are all crisp and clean. The Bass hoops have been refinished in black lacquer. Each and every part was removed and hand polished using soft cleaners no abrasives.
The bass drum has the original Ludwig heads and felt strips. The rest of the kit has new heads.
These drums were never used without both heads on them. The crisp white interiors and mint Ball Bat Mufflers attest to that.
When I got it, it had all original heads on it. But they were used up.
Sizes are Bass 22" Serial #332726 Sept 9/1966, 13" Tom Tom Serial #331868 Sept 9/1966, 16" Floor tom Serial #332693 Sept 9/1966,
And the famous Ludwig Supraphonic Model 400 5x14 Serial #341447 September 9/1966.
These drums were cleaned, preped, Then pictures. And then bagged up waiting for the new owner. Ready to go

Ludwig 1960s Green Sparkle Downbeat 20-12-14. What can I say this is in amazing condition. This color and these sizes are extremely difficult to find. The kit has almost all of the original heads which attests to the low miles on it. The color while not perfect is a really nice green sparkle. All original with no modifications. Ludwig Gold Sparkle Jazzette or Be Bop kit. 18" Bass Drum. 12" Tom and 14"x14" Floor Tom. Bass and 12" clear interior b/o badges and the Floor Tom is White Resocoate Interior, Keystone badge. NO extra holes and the Bass was never drilled for a tom mount. Extremly rare and It's soo cute. $2500.00
